Plan for the DAR line

section of the lines

The train line will be split into 4 different sections: Chestmere to Stheramore, Chestermere to 26 Ave SE on the Green line, 26 Ave SE to 16 Ave NW, and from 16 Ave NW to Cochrane. The current plan for the line to build from Shriners Rd to 50 Ave SW/68 St SW

Why 4 sections?

Why are we building dividing it into 4 sections, because that is how we 2d design it with 16 Ave NW to Cochrane it is going to be built alongside the Cp rail mainline just like what the city of Calgary did with the Red line to make it so cheap to build it. 16 Ave NW to 26 Ave SE is going to be the most difficult because some parts of it will have to go underground which makes it the most expensive part of it and the most difficult to build. 26 Ave SE to Chestermere is also going to be built alongside the train both Cp and Cn rail's tracks. In between 26 Ave and Ogden Rd, SE is going to use Cp rail tracks, and in between Ogden Rd SE and Chestermere: Chestermere Blvd-Rainbow Rd is going to be CN rail tracks. From Chestermere: W Chestermere Dr- Chestermere Blvd to Strathmore is just the Prairies.

Maintain and storage

The Storage facility for the train is going to be split into 4 they are going to match the line's section. The reason that we are building like this is that if there is something wrong with one section of it it won't affect the rest of the line.

How we plane on making money

We plan on making money by owning the land around the train station. On the land, we plan on building cheap affordable apartments housing to help the Calgary housing crisis and shops at the bottom of the apartments. To help us make money. We are building it like this because in North America transit does not make that much money which means they won't be self-sustaining that is why we are building housing and shops at the train stations.
